Job Description :
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated and energetic Business and Market Development Senior Manager to establish and grow new market segments for the world’s first and only commercial on-site hydrogen peroxide generator. As well as market development, the Business and Market Development Senior Manager will take a leading role in setting up a new successful business entity in South Africa.
This role is a unique opportunity to be central to the creation of a new, highly successful business in South Africa, in a new market sector. This role provides great potential for growth and to create a new inspiring future.
Responsibilities:
To take the lead in setting up a new successful business entity in South Africa.
To develop and grow the market for the company’s autonomous hydrogen peroxide generation systems in South Africa, Botswana, Mozambique, Namibia and Zimbabwe focusing initially on agricultural and livestock applications.
To find and grow the market in new and emerging applications. (Eg: small industrial water treatment and other geographies in Africa).
To drive sustainable financial growth.
Requirements:
Proven sales, marketing and market development experience.
BSc degree with major in natural sciences or engineering.
Knowledge of agriculture irrigation markets and / or livestock water treatment.
Technical ability to understand the technology, applications, installation and operation.
Strong commercial understanding and sound business acumen.
Extensive negotiation and influencing skills; experience with managing multiple and diverse stakeholder groups.
Experience in developing successful novel solutions to meet customer needs.
Fluent in Afrikaans and English.
The role will involve travel throughout South Africa as well as regionally to Botswana, Mozambique, Namibia and Zimbabwe.
